CanvasOK macOS MCP connection kit — invocation names release

Unzip CanvasOK-darwin-arm64-aliases.zip and copy CanvasOK.app to /Applications.
This is an Apple Silicon test build, unsigned/not notarized. App integrity
information is in release.json and the website's download manifest.

Keep this kit in a fixed folder. From that folder run:

  mkdir -p "$HOME/Documents/CanvasOK-test"
  python3 prepare.py --app /Applications/CanvasOK.app --project "$HOME/Documents/CanvasOK-test"

Only Python 3's standard library is required. The app's bundled Node is used.
prepare.py validates the app, reads its product-name registry and generates local
connection templates. It never registers a client, creates the selected project,
changes user aliases, or calls a model. Rerun it after moving the app/kit.

Read generated commands.txt. Merge the chosen client configuration into existing
settings; preserve other servers/settings and avoid duplicate CanvasOK entries.
Templates cover Codex CLI/Desktop, Claude Code/Chat, Gemini CLI, Antigravity,
OpenCode v1/v2, Cursor CLI/Desktop, Kimi Code CLI/Desktop, ZCode and DeepSeek Harness.
Ordinary Gemini chat is separate from the local MCP route. Kimi's current Node
client uses .kimi-code; legacy Python kimi-cli has different configuration paths.
DeepSeek Harness is a developer preview and requires enabling the MCP Cordis
patch in each chosen profile. Its web UI command is not a terminal conversation.

Manage custom product invocation names in the native app's Tools > Invocation
names and aliases, or through the generated CLI wrapper:

  ./bin/canvasok aliases list --json
  ./bin/canvasok aliases add '캔오' --json
  ./bin/canvasok aliases remove '캔오' --json

Korean/English/Japanese/Chinese defaults and custom names point to the same
canonical MCP server canvasok. They do not rename tool commands, document names,
change permission rules or add slash commands. MCP initialize/tool descriptions
advertise the latest names. Compatible harnesses refresh after list_changed;
otherwise restart the MCP server and start a new conversation. Optional generated
harness-instructions.md is a snapshot for a client's routing instructions; rerun
prepare.py if you use that note after changing names.

Start with one client in one project and request a 32x32 pixel cat. AI and the
native app share a project writer; ownership ends when the owning process exits.
Pause AI edits, apply a human change, resume, and request a fresh state read.
CanvasOK pause gates document writes, not external inference or billing.

Pixel/MIDI/audio editing uses the bundled runtime. VectorCraft, optional PhotoCraft
and MP4's FFmpeg are separate engines. No engine or model download is performed.
Client logins remain the responsibility of the selected harness.
